I am

In the gray of the dawn I am still.

In the stillness of the morning I am seeking.

In my seeking I am open.

In my openess I am learning.

In my learning I am realizing I am but a very small part of the Universe.

In my realization I find that even in this small corner of creation I am worthy.

In being worthy I am seeing my place.

In my place I find I am making a difference.

In making that difference I am the sum of my experience.

In my experience I find I am strong.

In my strength I am hopeful.

In my hope I am learning faith.

In my faith I am in awe of the power of prayer.

In my prayer I am asking for wisdom.

In my wisdom I am humble.

In my humility I am compassionate.

In my compassion I am grateful.

In my gratitude I am calm.

In the gray of twilight I am just me.
